2011 AGM

Hi 2011 NUBUG Members,

This is just a quick update of the recent news and upcoming activities.

The Annual General Meeting was held on the 10th of March. The meeting made the required quorum (enough people turned up), members nominated for positions and the executive positions were filled, the constitution was adopted. Big thanks to everyone who attended. We anticipate submitting the required paperwork for affiliation with NUSA early next week for NUSA approval but it looks like NUBUG will have no trouble becoming an official club. Cheers and applause!

The office bearers are:
President: Gus Elliget-Potts
Secretaries: Lara Newman and Carly Smallwood
Treasurer: Karl Keating
Bike Love Corral Coordinators: Daniel Endicott and Marte Kinder

Full minutes of the meeting will be prepared and available early next week. NUBUG now has 135 members.

The PRIZE BIKE was drawn and the member numbers to come out of the hat were:
001 Marte Kinder (ineligible because I donated the bike with Daniel Endicott)
141 and 142(there is no member 141 or 142 yet)
095 Mayur Sathg (ineligible because they did not attend)
032 Justin Low (ineligible because they did not attend)
066 Mitchell McDonald (ineligible because they did not attend)
047 Simon Pirem (ineligible because they did not attend)
087 Marie Hllybryn (ineligible because they did not attend)
020 Dominic Sddner (ineligible because they did not attend)
033 Jervinn Lim (ineligible because they did not attend)
finally member number 12 was drawn and that number belongs to Nick Batt who was in attendance and delighted to have won
